Card condition and sealed-product guide

Last updated: 3 October 2026

Check the individual listing

Condition describes the wear of the card being sold. Read the card name, set code, printing, rarity, language, condition and quantity together. If condition is not specified, ask CrestlaneCards@gmail.com before purchasing; do not assume the card is Near Mint. A single-card listing supplies one card per quantity selected unless a different bundle is expressly described.

Our condition descriptions

  • Near Mint (NM): very little visible wear; small edge, corner or surface imperfections may be present. Near Mint does not mean flawless.
  • Lightly Played (LP): minor visible edge, corner or surface wear, such as light scuffing or small areas of whitening.
  • Moderately Played (MP): more noticeable or repeated wear, such as broader whitening or surface scratches. Any significant crease or other material defect should be expressly described.
  • Heavily Played (HP): substantial wear that may include heavy whitening, scratching or creasing. Check the particular listing and any photographs carefully.
  • Damaged: major defects such as tears, major bends, water damage, peeling or structural damage, as described in the listing.

These are store descriptions, not professional grading-company scores. Condition alone does not guarantee centering, print alignment, tournament eligibility or a future grade such as PSA 10. A visible manufacturing defect that materially affects the item must still be disclosed rather than excused by a general condition label.

Images and actual copies

Unless a listing expressly says it shows the actual item, treat product images as stock illustrations of the card or product design. They do not show the precise condition, centering or print quality of the copy supplied. Ask us for clarification or photographs before ordering if those details matter to you.

Sealed products

Check whether the listing is for a loose pack, a sealed box or a case, and read the stated contents. A loose pack is not a box or a promise of box-level pull rates. Randomised products do not guarantee a specific card, rarity or resale value unless the manufacturer expressly guarantees that result for the product being purchased.

Sealed does not mean externally flawless. Significant damage to a box, wrapper or seal that matters to collectors should be disclosed in the listing. A general warning about possible handling marks does not replace disclosure of known material damage or remove remedies for damaged or misdescribed goods.

If your item differs from the listing

Contact us with your order number, a description and clear photographs where available. See our Returns and refunds policy. Opening a product to discover a genuine problem does not automatically remove your statutory rights; disappointing random pulls alone are not a defect.
